For all products
On fresh or dry wood, with the additional choice of chamfers and profiles, planing is done in series or on sized wood on a list.
Traditional type
Scierie Chauvin operates 10 drying cells with a total annual capacity of 40,000 m3 thanks to the energy produced by the bark-fired boiler. The precision of the final hygrometry guarantees the stability of the dried wood.
An integrated station
Class 2 treatment is obtained by dipping for wood intended for construction.
Class 3 treatment, an autoclave process that provides greater durability to the wood, is entrusted to a specialized station. Green, brown or colorless, class 3 treated wood is particularly resistant in a humid environment.
Phytosanitary standard
Packaging wood for export crates is heated to 56° at the core for 30 minutes to eliminate any phytosanitary risk. This heat treatment is carried out directly in our on-site dryers. It can be combined with drying.
Ensured traceability
Each package is labeled with all the characteristics of the product as well as the reference.
