Traditional type
Scierie Chauvin operates 10 drying cells with a total annual capacity of 40,000 m3 thanks to the energy produced by the bark-fired boiler. The precision of the final hygrometry guarantees the stability of the dried wood.
An integrated station
Class 2 treatment is made by dipping for wood intended for construction.
Class 3 treatment, an autoclave process that provides greater durability to the wood, is entrusted to a specialized station. Green, brown or colorless, class 3 treated wood is particularly resistant in a humid environment.
Phytosanitary standard
Packaging wood for export crates is heated to 56° at the core for 30 minutes to eliminate any phytosanitary risk. This heat treatment is carried out directly in our dryers. It can be combined traditional.
CE certificate and marking
The Chauvin sawmill has the necessary facilities and certifications to grade its sawn timber according to its mechanical strength: C18, C24, and C30.
